Help: can anyone recommend tires and rims to my 2001 325i?

I'm a newbie here. Bought the car in 2001. Had to put the full size spare on since I got a flat tire two years ago. Then in Dec.04, I replace two with new continental CH95. Unfortunately hit the curb couple days ago so now I'm thinking replacing all 4 of them but maybe switch to a different brand name.

The Mr. Tire guy recommend Pirelli P6 four seasons but I read the reviews and they do not seem to be very good ones. Anyone can recommend? Should I stick with the continental?

Also I had cosmetic damages on all the rims so I have been thinking about replacing them. Are there any good deals out there?

Thank you so very much in advance!

I'm running the Kumho ASXs on my 2000 328Ci (225/45-17) and really like them. Noise is low, traction is good and they are cheap as dirt ($83) at the Tire Rack. I also had the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s on the car. Far more performance, but also more expensive ($150). Note that I tried autocrossing on the Goodyears and ended up destroying them. Great everyday tire, but not competition capable. I went back to the Kumho MXs for autcrossing and am planning on trying the Yokohama AD07s this year.
As for rims, watch the classified ads in your local BMW club chapter newsletter or the Roundel magazine. I've picked up sets of four BMW wheels for as little as $200. There is currently an ad for a set of four SSR 17x8.5" wheels with Toyo RA1 race rubber for $800 plus shipping. That's $1600 worth of rims alone!

What are you looking for? All-season or summer only? It sounds like cost is a consideration, so I assume you're not looking for a "MAX" performance tire.

I'm looking for all seasons

I don't want to spend too much but still would like to get the best out of what I spend. Any tip is helpful.
