Unhappy February 2006 Z4 Series Sales Report

This February is the 10th anniversary of the sale of the first 38 BMW Z3 1.9 roadsters reported sold in February, 1996. Anybody remember how excited we were back then? I know I was.

BMW sold the first 17 of the new 2006 model year Z4 3.0si roadster this month. Notwithstanding the intro of the new model Z4, February sales hit another new low with only 154 units sold this month, a 67.2% decline from the 469 sold last February.

Please note that I only report the United States sales data.

one of the main reasons sells where low is because inventory is low we have none to sell and the consumer who orders the 2006 will not show as a sale until delivery which will be in a month or two
