When you are at slow sppeds it is the loudest thing you have ever heard.

I thought it was whhel barrings.

I've never even "heard" of this brand of tire. Where did you get them from.....and what did you pay? Hopefully, not too much.

Cooper makes a decent SUV/4X4 tire.....they were standard on my ML320 years ago when I owned it. Pretty decent all season performance. However, I wouldn't think of having them on a BMW.

I think Firestone makes the Fuzion tires. They average around $150 for each, IIRC.

Yeah, if you look at their events schedule, they love Hot Import Nights.

I had those tires and I have to say I like them more than my falcon ziex's that i replaced them with. They were an amazing tire, I pushed them pritty hard and they just stuck like glue, and they wernt noticeably louder than any other tire I've had, but thats just me...

I have them on my e46 and they are more than sufficient for my needs. They grip tenaciously and so far they're lasting longer than my old Goodyears. I don't notice them to be any louder than other hi perf tires. Considering the price and my needs, they are hard to beat.

I'm out in Cali and have these as well on my 2003 540i/6. Unfortunately, I don't know a *thing* about tires. I don't think they make any noise but I have nothing to compare them to. They seem to grip well, but again, nothing to compare to.

Tire specs are:
Front: 235/40R18 ~$190 ea.
Rear: 265/35R18 ~$220 ea.

Prices from:
http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?ti...rebrand=Fuzion

Not super cheap.

I had these... 245/45/17. I changed my wheel bearings because i thought they were going bad... I agree worst tire ever after a few miles. They grip well but not worth it with the noise....

Ppl see things differently. Some do not have the money for Michelins or chose not to spend the same as everyone else.

Free market, free economy, free to make mistakes, free to find new paths thru old problems, etc.

I had some ZRI's on a set of e39 wheels and they were terrible noisy until I realized the tires were directional and my tire shop had the front wheels mounted in the wrong direction. After flipping the wheels the noise was greatly reduced.

Something to check if you are getting noise from them

I recently went with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s which are rated right up there with the Michelin PS2s, but cost significantly less and many people like them better. I picked them up from a local dealer a couple of months ago and paid $155 for the fronts (235/45/17) and $165 for the rears (255/40/17) not including a $50 mail in rebate. The owner of the shop who owns a 3-series convertible said he believes they are the best tire on the market right now and will be putting them on his car for his next set replacing his PS2's - which he felt were the best tires on the market until the Goodyear's came out.

In this day and age of directional tires its amazing a tire shop gets it wrong. Mounting tires is not a complex job.

Was this a Discount Tire store btw?
