Most I have seen are older. In fact every one I have seen on the road has been an older person, and I can't think of seeing a woman driving one. May be location based.

Mein Auto: BMW K1200S
This is my first post to this site. At age 52 last year I bought my first BMW - the K1200S sportbike. Been a riderfor a lot of years. Replacingcurrent car (Maxima) with and a BMW is on the shortlist - got a brother with the z4-3.0 - though I lean towards the coupe. Wish the current coupe had the new engines though they are coming I imagine. very interesting site. Dave

Mein Auto: higher mile m3
great thread. My father is 60 and has owned several bmw's but still couldnt buy the m3. He said he had too much power for him. He did just buy a 2005 330ci with the smg and every single option possible! thing costs about the same as an m3 basically. LOL me being in my early 20s I will have the car he thought was too much for him.

Is there anyone on the boards that is 50 & up, and had an M3 as a daily driver?

Just curious . . . .
I'm 62, and have been driving Otto (a 2004), mostly on weekends. Although I've been doing driving schools for years (and just started instructing last year), I haven't taken it yet, and may never. Reason? Cheap cars are just as much fun, and if you wad one up, you won't cry about it.

Mein Auto: 2002 M3 Coupe SMG
My Father, before his passing November of last year, had been driving the 02 that I am currently driving as a daily...he has been in Porsches, BMWs, Audis, and Infinitis the past 15 years and he loved the M3. He was 54 and loved the car as a daily. The SMG was the best compromise for him between performance and the horrific Atlanta traffic.

LOL, I've got all you young whipper snappers beat. I'm over 70 and I get a senior citizen discount on gas and service. I expect this car to last until Bangle cleans up his designs, otherwise I may have to upgrade to a 997 TT.
