Thanks, it's an O&W Precision, M-4 Diver, ETA-2824-2 movement. I had different hands put on the watch, as well as better lume. I have smaller wrists, and a bigger watch doesn't look or feel right, this one's about 42mm. A comfortable size for me.

I have 3 Invicta watches. My daily wear watch is my Invicta model 4525. It keeps perfect time, no battery and cost far less than many others.

I just had the battery on my watch replaced today. It's been sitting in my drawer for years. It battery was out and I got a smartphone (HTC Touch to be exact) so I decided to live life without a watch. Not sure if I'm affected by this thread, I decided to use my watch again.
It's not a fancy watch at all, in fact my dad got it from Seiko (SII Products) as a sample for the VJ52 product. Yeah, if you google you won't even see the watch but the mechanical and specs related to VJ52. However it fits perfectly on my skinny arm and it looks simple and easy to read. While I'm readying my friends updating their FB status on the iPhone5 announcement "condemning" the change of port (I don't know why they didn't see it coming, it's been rumored for so long already) and spend money upgrading and replacing this and that, wristwatch is one of those things that if you have a solid, good looking piece in hand, there's really no need to "upgrade" or worry about comparability with something else for a long time. |

I've since taken to wearing the watch below, which was a graduation present many, many years ago. I found an original Japanese strap and I sent it off for for some service, gaskets, crystal and spa treatment. Hopefully, it will last another few decades. (It's of some interest to classic Seiko watch fans b/c it's the JDM version with a hackable movement and a Japanese Kanji plus English day wheel that was primarily sold in Japan -- but was also sold in PXs. Willard wears an earlier Seiko diver in Apocalypse.) I still wear a Timex Triathlon for my daily AM 7k. Unless I forget.

I only started wearing wristwatches in the last years. Never was a big fan especially as I was younger, but my wife insists that I wear a watch.
Have a few vintage golden ones from my father/grandfather/etc, too precious for everyday use, so I wear others usually, this is a recent one:

After 23 years of wearing Rolexes, I finally dropped one face down, my SS GMT-IIC. Sapphire crystal shattered.
Bummer. Sending it off this week.

I have a Suunto XR6Ti. It has altitude, heart rate, compass, barometric functions and a bunch of other stuff.
I track my cycling and ski seasons with it. That's not why I bought it though. Suunto watches are the only brand that come with their own joke. A guy is in a bar, buying drinks for a woman and chatting her up. The whole time he keeps fiddling with his watch, pushing buttons and checking it. After a while, she says "It seems like your more interested in your watch than you are in me." He replies "This isn't just a watch, it's a wrist top computer, and it gives me a lot of important information about my environment." She says "Well, what does it tell you about me?" So he pushes a few buttons, looks deep into her eyes and says "It tells me you're not wearing any panties." She laughs and says "That's ridiculous, I'm wearing underwear." The man looks at his watch and shakes it and then says "Hmm, must be running an hour fast." Drive home safely and be sure and tip your waitress. Me? I'll be here all week. jummo

That's probably going to need a full service to protect the movement. Was the bezel damaged?

Anyone ever compliment any of you guys in the men's room? Standing side-by-side doing your business and you hear,
"Nice watch." Heh.
