Question Oversized Tires???

Got a dumm question. Need 4 new tires for my 2000 528i which still has its original Contis P225/60 R16 96 H M+S. Got an offer from a friend for 4 brand new Mich's P225/60 R16 Pilot XGTV4 97 V (excess factory inventory) for $45 each plus mounting, etc. Sounds like a phantastic deal but would the larger aspect ratio, i.e. slightly larger diameter, be a problem? It seems to good an offer to turn down but is the extra size an issue? Will I be able to turn the wheel fully? Will the speedometer read right? Etc.? Can anybody advise? Not worried about the lack of the M+S since I am now living in SC.
Rick
