The Transporter

http://www.transportermovie.com/home.html

I believe this has been mentioned before, but this is similar the BMW films.

What's woth nothing is that he also drives a BMW in the movie. Black E38 with a manual transmission, per the clips that I've seen

I'm guessing a 728i?

When i first saw the prevews for it, i kinda liked it. Then of course the obvious bmwfilms rip off idea came to my mind.

But now, everytime i see it looks more like a crappy movie with lots of bad action and no plot. I havent seen it, but thats what it looks like to me. And in some previews, the car blows up and he's running around without it

735i according to the movie.

It's actually quite a good movie if they intended it to be the campiest movie ever made...I think most of the dialogue are written with tongue FIRMLY in cheek. Jason Stratham will be the NEXT big action movie hero.

I nominate this movie to be the worst AND the best movie of the year, at the same time. It's that bad and it's that good.

I saw this movie yesterday and it was a good action flick. Don't go expecting it to have a believable plot/storyline, it is purely for enjoyment. The female lead (Shu Qi) isn't the best actress, but then again she isn't seen (or heard) very much in the movie.

The fight scenes reminded me of Jackie Chan films, very fun to watch, but not very realistic.

Still, not a bad movie, if you don't go into it expecting much more than you're basic action flick.

just saw this movie......thoughts are as above mentioned.

I just wish there were more car chase scenes, like Ronin.

The E38 is awesome looking in that movie!!!

I just saw the movie last night.... its one big cliche, and a TOTAL ripoff of the BMW films concept.

I thought it was pretty good for an action movie. I rented it and watched a few minutes of the commentary. Jason Stratham did most of the driving himself. They said it was the only manual 7 series in Europe, or something to that affect.

I did notice some swirl marks on the car after he had cleaned it though.

The concept was ok (BMW invented it), his fighting was pretty good. Filmed in Europe was a thumb up!

Overall, kind of a blah movie! Barely worth the rental... or the time to watch it. I mean, if you are bored out of your gourd, and have seen anything else, then you should see it!

I enjoyed the movie. I don't care about any similarities to the BMW Films concept (big deal if there is).

I thought of it as somewhat of a "XXX" with a "Leon The Professional" style.

And the DVD looked and sounded great on my HT system (Samsung DLP + Arcam/Dynaudio).

I was pretty disappointed when we saw it. I guess I had had higher expectations. I'd rent it just for the scenery and driving, but nothing more.

I'd rather watch Bourne Identity again. Incredible locations and cool Mini scenes.

yea, i like how he started the bmw, thought it was really good for his first action flick. Thought he was good in snatch and lock stock.
