Question about 100K mile engine warranty.

What does this engine warranty cover exactly?

Also, my dealer recently diagnosed an extremely annoying sound in my 01 M3 as being mis-aligned valves. The service tech. was telling me about how he would have to take the top of the engine off in order to get to them, justifying the car being there for an entire day, triggering the question: Would this be covered under the engine warranty? Of course, i didn't think of that until i had already left.

Warranty covers lubricated engine parts.

Valve adjustments are necessary/routine maintenance on the M3.
