idrive dead, Help
Hi, I lost the main key to my 2002 e65, When i used the spare key it will not work the central locking and my idrive only shows the radio controls, but seems to be frozen. The control knob
is spinning freely, but not changing anything. Sat nav, tv or heater control screens are not coming up. I just get a blank screen when i start the car. If i press the knob on the cd player, then the radio screen comes up. I am also getting directions in the instrument cluster. Any help PLEASE.

I would just take her in for look at. If you are still under warranty, it looks like you'll be getting a 06 DVD Nav and computer. I had a similiar problem and that is what they did for me....

cntrl, alt, dlt... worked on my car the other day... hold both eject buttons for CD and DVD and press the power for the radio...
