of people coming from Texas, from Georgia, from Massachusetts, and beyond.

If you are coming from to Santa Barbara from far, far away, please sound off here.

Dude, here's the plan. I am in Mayville, New York all day (90 miles from Buffalo Airport) and the last flight that can connect me to LAX leaves at around 7pm EST. If I make that flight, I am home at 1am and I will see you, semi-tired, in Santa Barbara.

IF I miss that flight, I will take the 6am flight out of Buffalo the next morning. I want to come so bad I am willing to drive straight from LAX to Bimmerfest, although I probably wouldnt make it there until 1pm or so and I would be tired as sh!t. I've got your cell and I'll give you a call Saturday a.m. so you can tell me where you/Jev/everyone is at.

We can hold a contest, who will pass out first, me or teh Jev.

Sounds like you're taking I-40? I took that nice route two years ago. I think you get it only if you DRIVE the car, so you should be good.

I can't fully remember right now, but I'll be driving on I-10 in Texas through CA. I am trying to miss Tornado Alley since there was a bit of them a couple of weeks ago!

I-40 is a much shorter route, than the one your doing. I had AAA do a route for me when i drove out here from Maryland.

I drive my bimmy a lot, its high milage but i just cant miss this so Im taking her there! no way in the world Ill miss hanging with all you BMW fans at once

I guess I should maybe take a digital pic with my starting milage date stamped & do the same when I arrive into Fullerton, CA and then add the 2 hrs milage to Santa Barbra, hehe...I don't care if I get the award or not. I'm just phyched to be going!

J- Nav might have me driving right through a tornado or 2, hehe. It's that time of season in that neck of the US. Just feel it's better to be safe than sorry!

Oh, by the way, last month I drove from MA down to Ft. Myers/Sanibel, FL & back...I've got roughly 22K miles on the car now & got it last March. Also I'll have new rear tires on her....Got lucky & the Peabody BMW has a set of rear Conti tires that are someone elses, but they are waiting for a pair of fronts on back order They are gonna get another set for the original customer they were for. Getting the tires put on tomorrow morning.

Flying into LAX on 7 April, picking up my 74 2002tii at Coupe King's shop in LA, then I'm driving home to N Santa Barbara county. Next morning, I'm driving down to Bimmerfest in my 70 E3 Euro spec 2800, the E46 crowd will say WTF is that.
