Cassette player in a '01 Cic
I replaced my Business CD with the regular Business radio with the cassette player and got one of those Pioneer 12 CD changers. Everything works fine except the radio reception. The back of the Business CD has 3 connections. One is the main black connection and the other two appear to be antenna connections (per the Bentley manual). The back of the cassette player only has connections for one of those antenna connections.
With the CD radio, I was able to pick up stations in the next city, but cannot with the cassette player. Anybody have any suggestions on getting the other connection going, or improving the reception with the one connection? I'm assuming the convertible is different from the coupe or the sedan, since it seems the Cic has two antenna's, one hidden and one sticking out of the back, near the trunk. The other option, I guess is getting another cassette player from BMW made for the convertible that accepts both antenna connections. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian |
