These are your words, not mine. No one put words in your mouth. You just spat out the wrong words, and now you're saying that it OTHER people's fault for "putting words in your mouth"? How do people put words in your mouth in an online discussion? It's not like I can yell over your voice. And if you think I took your quote, edited it to suit my argument, and pasted it, then go check your original post; it is exactly what I have quoted. Yes, many people will order their cars with a lot of options. Many others will only get sport, or only get premium. But your price of $47 that you explained in the above quote was a comparison to a similarly equipped US car. And I have already explaiend what a similarly equpped US car costs. And it is *not* $47. I can't believe that you still think you can gloat; I mean, first of all, you were off by more than MOST people (Except Wahoo over on E90post, who has similar ideas), and now you actually have the nerve to claim that you were right, and everyone else can "fcck" off? Man, grow up. |

A lot of people don't want the premium package because it is basically leather and some other small things that can be easily bypassed...and as for stand alone options I (and many others I would bet) really don't want or need the vast majority of them...except for metallic paint I guess. |

Another thing: where is the 330 coupe for the US market? I don't see it anywhere.

So someone who spends $42K on a car, is a big loser? Wow. You know what, I think you are a big loser. You only want to spend $47K. Go be a real man and buy a Bugatti Veyron or something. So, it is pretty obvious that to you, cars are to be bought to show off. Well, guess what? A 3 series in the US is not something that will turn heads. For a couple of months, sure, people will look at the new coupe. And after that, every 17 year kid in Southern California will have one. And I've seen your post on E90Post asking to set up a thread to ask members about what options they are ordering. That is hardly an unbiased thread. These boards largely consist of enthusiasts (and a few badge-concious people like yourself). Both categories of people will often load up their cars. And again: the point was that the car configured as the UK model's "SE" edition was going to be $47K according to your post above. And that configuration is clearly not even close to $47K. 335 + SP + PP + Heated Seats = approx $44.6k
Euro Delivery will bring it down to some $40-41k (MSRP). Out the door it will be around $39k. Definitely not a stripped car, the US-spec cars already have a lot of standard kit. A very far cry from your $47k any which way you look at it. You're just a badge whore who cannot admit when you're wrong. ![]() adc 03 330 ZHP |

![]() Edit: My bad, I was refering to E92 options list, where of course it did not appear since they get fold down seat standard. Since it is available standalone for 2006 E90, it should continue to be for 2007.

You can surely own the 335i for 20K if you bring the new car home and start tearing it apart and start selling the parts on eBay. You're just a cheap whore who cannot admit when you're wrong and talk up side down. You are making nice people here who had wanted the E92 options like criminals. Stop making yourself a joke here.

What's wrong with buying a lightly optioned E92?
Power seats, xenon headlights, power moonroof, cruise control, keyless entry, automatic climate control, upgraded sound system, wood interior trim, sport suspension are all standard on the 335i. I had to pay extra for a CD player, moonroof and cruise control functionality when I bought my car six years ago! What the hell else do you need? BMW's crappy nav system? Get the sport package for the wheels and excellent seats and be done with it.

BTW, (sincerely) thank you for reading backwards and made a point. My speculation of $47K was posted much earlier than the UK price released. Thus, not sure why you would relate the UK price into my early magic formula ? My final guess was pretty much close to 41K: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...&postcount=138 You definitely made it sounded like bimmerfest members are no enthusiasts than e90post. In 6 weeks time, nice little E92 invoices will be all over the forums, and that will be the time (again) I come back here and listen to your BS again.

Also, what is the big deal with iDrive? Since I am a field sales guy I know my area like the back of my hand so the last thing I need is a computer telling me where to go...as for CA I'm also fine doing things the old way...it is only $500 though so no big deal. |

I'm thinking of buying a stripped down e92 in the US. I plan on tracking the car so I want as little in it as possible except Sport. I would even pay to have some things taken out.
I'm sure I won't be the only one who buys an e92 under US$47k. The most purchased options are the packages and even if a person gets both ZSP and ZPP they will be at US$44k. That's out the door with tax for less than US$47k. There will be plenty of invoices with just those options and a price of US$44k. |

I said it would be $50,000 on the street a loooong time ago.
Too much money for me. I'm glad I got the 330xi ($43,660 on the street).
