H&R Springs and Spacers Pics

I just installed the H&R springs and spacers (12mm front, 10mm rear), and couldn't be happier. The ride is virtually unchanged - slightly stiffer, but I really like it in 'Normal' mode. I can switch to 'Comfort' if I'm transporting people, and it's virtually the same as before. (My wife can't tell the difference, and that's the real test.)

Here are some pics of the car post-install and some close-up shots showing how the tires/wheels really fill out the wells with the new springs and spacers. I would highly recommend this mod for anyone.

Looks great. I see on your list that you had Blizzacks on the OEM's. I have an M5 on order and live in a winter climate. Is there a reason you chose to put winter tires on the 19's rather than using 18's for a winter setup? I am curious what price premium Blizzack 19's are over 18's. Also, what sizes front and back on the winters? 285/35/19's show as not available in Blizzacks.

The main reason I picked 19's is because I had the 20" RS-GT's for my summer setup, and I wanted to put the stock wheels to good use. The other thing I considered is non-snow and ice handling.

I've had Audi's and BMW's with winter tires now for almost 20 years, and I've found I rarely drive in snow in the winter here in Cincinnati. With 'ice and snow' blizzaks, the cars handling really took a dive with the winter setups. I picked the 19's with LM 22's because I wanted good dry-weather handling, and I was willing to sacrifice some snow/ice performance.
