Oil Filter Canister Leak? Pictures

Looking for a little help. I cannot identify what this is or if I'm missing a cover or something. I just bought this 1995 M3 3.0L Coupe and it has a terrible oil leak coming from behind the oil filter canister. Any help in identifying the part or how to stop the leak is appreciated. I am attaching two pictures (one further away and one close up). There is a mirror in place so you can see the "nipple" like bolt or plug where the leak is coming from. When the car is running and the system is pressurized it can leak up to a quart in an hour to two.

Oil Leak

Look here to find a good exploded view of the parts there in.

Hope this gets you in the ballpark as to what should be there...

Thanks Guys. Kind of the same answer I get from BavAuto and others. Looking at the realoem is the same pic I have seen a few times. They don't list that part as a seperate piece so I've been told it's part of the whole oil filter assembly/housing. I just bought a new housing so when it gets hear and I can tear into it I will post a follow up if I learn anything. In mean time if anyone knows anything else I would appreciate the post.

Issue Resolved

Finally... all fixed by a $.60 cent o-ring. I have come to find out there are two different types of oil filter housings on 95 M3's. One uses the screw in bolt like the pic I posted with the arrow and the other with the nipple thing like the pic with the mirror. Pretty much a snap ring holds back the nipple cover and there is small o-ring behind that. In the interim I tried different sealants, etc and the pressure is too high for almost anything so you must do it right with the o-ring. All is fixed and hope the follow up posts helps someone else.
