Question Door handle in rear drive passengers is broken

Door handle in rear drive passengers is broken and can't open it from inside because it has child lock. Anyone who to open it.

i had the same problem. pop the door panel off and there is a little release latch you would need to get a long screw driver and push. I would look on the other door just to see how it works first and you should be able to figure it out from there.

Remove the door trim

If it's only the handle that's broken, then you should be able to open it with the trim removed

Honestly, this is one of those jobs I would just have figure out on the way - it's just door trim!

thanks but i have already removed the trim..my problem is that the door is shut with child lock on and the outside door handle is not working...i cannot seem to find the release latch mentioned above, where about isit?

hello I'm in same position as yourself looked at replies but a lot seem childish can take panel off but don't wish to break anything it appears to be external door linkage but cant' be certain did you open it in the end
