Introducing the new DallasBimmer.... she's finally home!

Well after almost two long months on order, we finally picked her up today. The CA and F&I guys were super nice at Cooper BMW and treated us like Royalty.

The car was in the showroom! Like a show car and it looked like it too: just incredible!
It had just 5 miles on it and we added 200 on the trip home. The drive and handling is outstanding.

I can't wait for mine either!!! I have a few question though. You mentioned that when you went to pick up your car and it was in the showroom, did you check to see if the car was locked?? I would be concerned if it wasn't and while the car was waiting for you to pick up people might ahve went in the car and sat in it and god knows what else.

Are most cars that are delivered set up in the showroom? or in the garage?

Lastly.. Was there a sticker lsiting your options and specs of your order and did it have your name on it??

Their showroom has a what you would call extra room with sliding double glass doors in which the car is brought up all cleaned and beautiful for the customer to view in air conditioned comfort.
Yes, the car was locked and my CA took the opportunity to show me the comfort access feature to unlock it.
As far as the order with numbers and all options listed; it was given to us at delivery.

For comparison, my last car, a Lexus, was delivered out in the parking lot in 100 degree temp. with brief overview of options. Nothing like out experience today. These people know how to keep a customer.

You have exceptional taste.

That is basically the same exact car I'm getting.

I love the modern, high tech look of Titanium Silver with Black leather and Aluminum trim on the inside.

I also want the NAV and iDrive. I'll never buy another car without a NAV.

Only difference is that I want the xi and heated seats (I live in the northeast). So, AWD and heated seats is a must.

I have another year on my current lease, but I already made up my mind about my next car.

I would be very happy with the 330xi, but by the time I am ready to order the 335xi might be available.

congrats! i hope to have mine next month, but why no sports package?

Did the lady in the red shirt think you were crazy for parking slanted like that in the middle of the driveway, taking lots of pictures of your car?

I'm assumming either he doesn't like RunFlat Tires, or not interested in a "rougher ride" or price? I know I didn't choose Sports cause I want a more smoother ride and the car handles well enough as is.

Thank you. I've been in love with this car since it came out. The Xi is an excellent choice for up there, it'll come in handy it bad weather. Good luck with it.

Funny you should ask that, but to tell you the truth it varies from customer to a customer. Down here in Brooklyn, my friend got the delivery outside of the dealership (the car was parked on the curb). When I was picking up my car, it was in the garage. Though, I remember, when I couldn't wait for my ride, I was coming to the dealership almost every day with some stupid question in order just to sit in a 3-er So there was some E90 that had a sticker "Sold!" Guess what? It was open, and EVERYONE, who wanted would sit inside, play with the lights, seat, and so on and on. To tell you the truth, I would be really pissed if it was my car, but thank G*d it wasn't.

I'm not trying to scare you, just telling you how our Brooklyn dealership is. As someone mentioned above, the showroom is some additional space for them, so they use it, and sometimes forget to lock the cars, but I'm sure that if you take the delivery as soon as they get the car, they won't even have time to rearrange their stock and stick yours into the showroom

Congrat on your new ride. Can't wait till my wallet agree with me to get one. Otherwise, just keep dreaming. Wife won't give up her 740iL.

Thanks, hope you can soon convince your wife about the E90. Just show her the difference between gas milage numbers(and how she could spend the extra money on herself ).

Thanks Acomp, I was torn bet. the SG/blk and TS/blk also and finally just went with the silver color which I've never owned.
Tomorrow I'll take it out on it's leisurely break in period drive. I still can't believe it's here in my garage.

awesome....i just finalized my order for a 325i with the same color/trim/leather combo, except mine is a 6 speed. enjoy, and quite the beautiful car....

I just changed my exterior color from Monaco Blue to TiAg b/c the more TiAg I saw the more I fell in love....
