Thats the temporary red line for the engine and you should not go past that line or it may cause abnormal engine malfunctions because the engine isn't warm yet.

let me see if i got this right , you are saying is when i start my car after siting all knight its cold, and the bright orange backgroud is really the red line, so don't drive it until the light goes black. and positions the true red line info. this is way different then the manuel.

do you also know how to get the information icons off the nav i hate looking at all that stuff gas pumps and rest. i tred everthing click on information click on information again and again.. i don't even know what software i have..

Look over on the tach side, you'll see an orange Bar that indicates your highest suggested rev point, as the car gets warmed up, the valves get oil and warmed up, the redline moves up until finally the indicator goes off.
