Speaking of the yellow oil can
I see it mentioned often however it seems not everyone is aware there are two varieties of this light.
Dripping can with wavy level below it= Low oil level(most likely a qt) Dripping can with no wavy level below it means=LOW OIL PRESSURE Not monitoring your oil level(which is absurdly EASY in the ())can result in as it is the lifeblood of your engine.Also,keep a close eye on your coolant level .

not so sure about that
as long as it's a yellow warning, not a red warning it's not that big of a deal oil pressure should throw a red warning, I think you're mistaken there (don't have the manual in front of me though) |

My yellow oil light was coming on intermittently this week... took it to the dealer. They checked the oil level and added a quart, no questions asked.
