Hello.
My name is Ed. Several months ago I purchased a 2000 540i/6 as my daily driver. It is black on black and is my fouth BMW. I have been driving and still have a 911 (1992 Carrera 2). I have owned a 1976 530i, 1896 325 and a 1987 535is. The 540 has been a great car and I intend to make some modifications, the first being a suspension upgrade. I enjoy reading about all of the mods done by members of this forum and I have picked up a lot of input as to appearance changes to the car. The BMW's I have owned truly have been the ultimate driving machines. I'm fortunate that each day I have a decision to make as I look in my garage as to which car to drive. The 540 has been a great choice for me. Founder
