Beautiful California

Hello All Cali. Members,

I visited your state for the first time over the Memorial weekend and loved it so much I had to write a note to you guys .

You are all so fortunate to have such wonderful roads to travel with your cars, not to mention the distance you all can travel. I drove from Oakland to LA and then on to Las Vegas . Gorgeous the road was a drivers paradise....

Here in New York --- Brooklyn, the roads are infested with "man holes" not pot holes, big enough for you to fall in and disappear.

Just lots of Shout out to you lucky fellas......

The weather was incredible for Memorial Day this year...glad you like our beautiful state. Now, if you'd like to buy a small piece of it I can help you with that! Would you prefer a 2 or 3 car garage?

Thanks I drive across the Golden Gate Bridge twice every day - Pacific Ocean, views of SF, the sun, the fog, the sunsets, sunrises, Mt. Tam, Marin Headlands, curvy highway, curvy tourists walking across the bridge... It must be one of the best commutes on Earth.

I love your car, too... the color, wheels, chrome trim around windows, plus the "aero dynamic package" make it look AWESOME!

I was wondering what freeway too. The 5 from SF to LA would be fastest as the pch takes forever. The 5's a pretty ugly stretch of the entire world, imho, so I guess he took the pch?

We drove down to LA using the 5 which was endless but fun, my bro told me the PCH would take us around 14 hours. On our way back we bypassed LA and took Rt. 58 back to the 5 if I am correct. (Saved us few hours too)

California is great. I had a wonderful 3 hour drive a few weeks ago when I was there....unfortunately I only went about 7 miles on the 101 but it was still an enjoyable 3 hours in the car

All kidding aside, is there a nice drive from L.A. to San Diego? PCH? I know it's only about 2 hours but I was thinking of doing a SoCal vacation next year.
