Mein Auto: 98 M3
Hello all

Hi everyone. I'm new here and just got my first bimmer about a month ago. Silver 98 2 door M3. I love this car. I bought it while I was living in NC, now I'm moving out to San Jose CA.

The car and the drive has been great...until I hit Wyoming when my tire blew out. No major damage. Just needs some touch ups on the back bummer and the skirt under it probally needs to be replaced. Oh well, it could have been worse. I'd be in CA by now...but these small towns here don't have any 245/40/17s. I should only have to stay tonight and be on my way.

Anyways good to be here.

Good attitude about the damage to the new car - I would have hit the roof Anyway, San Jose isn't far from Bimmerfest '07

Yes it is very hard to stay positive, but when I truely thought we could have died (scarry cliff things on the other side), its not too hard. I need to do a bit of paint work on it anyways...I'm just glad we are okay, and the car is okay.

I'll have to get it looking spiffy for bimmerfest.

Same happened to me in Austria, though i wasn't lucky enough to be in a beautiful M3.

I was happily screaming away at the stupid tyre until i realised that there was a 200 foot drop behind me......somewhat sobering!!!

Hope you get your baby sorted out mate
