another sujestion for next year
We should have a BMW bass contest. I'm sure if people knew about it now they would build a setup to compete! I sure would. I feel we needed more events at bimmerfest and I think this would be perfect... It dosn't put anyone in danger or risk anyones property like a race or autox would... Although both would be cool this would be eazy to put together.

First off,
Autox is not a "race" its a timed event, and when properly setup very safe. Second, having a bass contest starts moving the event into less of an enthusiast "fest" and more of a lets show off thing. Bimmerfest is a time to admire other bmw's and all I see as possible events would be autox to show what cars "can" do. And a detail contest to show what bmw's CAN look like. Besides with all the vendors chromed out , subbed out cars this year its enough to last us the next 5 bimmerfests.

Woot! Bimmerfest/ranger Boats will rock. Perhaps the person that catches the largest carp or catfish (ya'll have these in CA) could also win a prize.
