Thinking of Buying...lots of questions...
Test drove both 330i and Lexus IS350 and decided I definitely like the BMW better. Now, here comes lots of questions, please bear with me.
Here is what I want: 06 330i, graphite gray, auto, Premium Package, Idrive Nav, Comfort access 1) Will I be able to find a car like this, or should I expect to have to order? 2) I added up the wholesale (invoice?) cost of this car and got about 39k. Should I expect to pay about 39k + taxes, etc for this car? 3) Are there any other options that I should consider getting? I omitted sports package because the price kept climbing. I went to the dealer and drove a 330i with zpp, zsp, zcw, comfort access and the sticker was 46k. This seems very high. Please advise on dealer negotiations on price, options, etc. Thanks, JohnC |

$
Figure invoice + about $1000 profit , (depending on where you live, generally between $500-$1500), +TTL. Any document processing fees, which are usaully printed on their sales forms, but are simply added profit, just subtract that amount from the profit. BMW does not use holdback, unlike most manufacturers.
As far as in stock or ordering, the dealer can check their computer to answer that question. |

Without the SP you don't get a lot of goodies like the nicer 18" rims, thickly bolstered seats and better steering wheel.
Having the xi it was all about the seats and steering wheel for me (and now I love the rims). But looking back I think I could have done without the SP because the standard seats hold you in place pretty well (its not slippery leather like some use) and it would be a lot easier to get in and out of. You sound like you are more into the luxury options, so I would say you picked a good option combo.
