Thats just a "wholly s**t" handle for your passenger when your whipping through the twisties No need for the driver but I'm guessing it would make closing the door easier

Does anyone know if the taillights are LEDs? I hope so...

I think the three strips are LED...this is from BMW US press release....

Thanks. You can't really tell from the pictures alone as companies can trick you by using a reflective light casing and still use regular bulbs (like my 325i). It's not as obvious as E46 coupe lights or G35s, but I'm glad to hear they are indeed LEDs.

I want a wholly s**t handle too! And it would make closing the door easier.

In the article it says the new auto tranny has 100ms shifts!

That is crazy fast! Ferrari, 612 does 250ms, F430 does 150ms shifts, F1 cars do 50ms shifts, the new 599 GTB Fiearno does 100ms.

I wonder if this exclusive the the 335i?

Note how the shifter is different than regular automatic shifter.



Since it has shift paddles it means its a 335i with ZSP

I hope the tranny carries over to the 328i coupe and also the e90 sedans

Looks like the handle would get in the way of reaching the window buttons (which shouldn't be on the door anyways )

Yeah they should've put the window controls on the center console! Besides all that though, the E92 looks like it's going to be a very nice ride.

5 series design influence from the front and nice 3 series touch from side to back.
I like it a lot.... nice...........

Speaking of LED lights, does anyone know if it will feature LED turn lights in the back?

It has LEDs for sure for the normal lights, but I didn't see it specificaly say if the turn signals were LEDs or not.
