Frankly, I'm not a fan of any of the modifications. Looked better in stock trim, but hey, it isn't my car.
Stock looks nice, but I like tasteful mods. I know the bimmer die hard stock guys would be all over this post, and that s ok. I anticipated and welcome it. Everyone is different and I see too many stock bimmers as is.

Yeah, no worries. If you can take playful jabs here & there, you'll be just fine here. We try not to take ourselves too seriously. Brace yourself for an onslaught of one-piece headlight rage, though.

Seemed like a good idea at the time, but the quality is less than I had hoped for. They show signs of wear already... the outer protective coating is scaling and one of the angel eyes started flickering. I ll have zkw glass with smoked corners later (which you ll like I m sure), but with red eye ccfl's. Hah. Have to mod it in some way.

Most modded cars have a secondary color. It s either black and yellow or black an orange/amber. Since the gauges and other lights are amber, I think the sways, calipers, strut bars, springs etc etc will all be the secondary color. Maybe burnt orangish? idk. Silver is just to tame. Like you said, it s my car, right?

Why are you changing the wheels if the car's going to be in storage?

also looking for that individual Arktis m3 that is supercharged - well saving up for it hehe

was able to purchase an original set of BBS RX rims size 17. Got them today after i had them refurbished and had them installed today. need to DIY the front center caps though since the clips are damaged. To my surprise under the BMW logo was the original center cap itself which saved me a lot. I missed having rims on my car.

when i got the rims

after the refurbish

center caps

installed. Will take better pictures when the weather clears up and when i DIY the front center caps

Did you refurb the wheels or pay to have them done? I need to have mine refurbed... nicks re-smoothed and two small dings straightened. Just curious of the price.

Most places charge 80-120 per wheel.

(That'll fix curb rash, bends, and some cracks)
