Ah, ok. Those pads from Bimmerworld were pretty damn cheap, anyway, right? This was good for me because I had a few pads sitting around anyway.

I wanna lower it a little more in the front now, but I already scrape enough. Even with the 235, there's some extra room because I rolled that lip down. Maybe I'll just get some spacers and splitters. I hate how the damn bumper sits higher than the side skirt.

I was thinking about 245 but 235 is what I got a good deal on. 245 would've been tight in the front anyway.

Nope. I have 245/40s all around. That said, I don't have your suspension or wheels, so I don't know how well they would work for you. I'm sure you could get 245s to work fairly easily, though. Anyway, another time down the road, I suppose.

Yeah, It would be easier with the 40 height, too. Mine are 45, so probably even a little higher than yours. Can't argue with the deal I got, though. $350 for a barely used set when they go for $230 each.

Yeah, can't pass that up, for sure.

I have some ugly pictures of my car while experimenting with ride heights. Joey, this applies to you. I can take a picture of the spring pads if you wanna see what I mean.

The rear of the car sat too high with the adjusters in, so I pulled them out. But then it sat too low, and the exhaust scrapes on stuff, and it was practically tucking rim. So I took a spare rubber spring pad and cut out part of the middle, so it would sit nicely on another spring pad. Put them both on the top together, and it raised the car perfectly. I've only done one side so far, so you can see the difference.

I also rolled the fender in front just a little bit and fit the 235 in there. Looks like a good fit, so I can get the other two 235s mounted soon and have all four. By the way, the Dunlop SP-01's in the rear grip great.

And only the two old tires are dirty, just need to mount the new ones

Yep, at first I wanted it lower in the front but now I think splitters will even it out nicely.

I like them myself, I think it cleans up the rear end some and makes the car a little unique. Now to take a sawzall to those stupid tips

You guys need to go visit the detail section. Check out the professional guys threads, both of your cars could be fixed up really easily, and its not that much work. After all the work you guys have done, your cars need some paint love!

Yeah, no doubt. Problem is that I don't even wanna wash the car until it's moving about properly. Too much stuff I've still gotta do.

I have this problem too. I'm always screwin with it and afraid ill screw up the wax or something so it never gets waxed and hardly ever washed

They're not bad, but legal to have red reverse lights? I remember being pulled over for not having functioning reverse lights, I can't imagine red BU lights going over well with cops (at least here in Cali)

I wouldn't say not a fan, I'll give it a chance, I can imagine them growing on me.

I think the switch on the transmission stopped working anyway. I don't know, I never really need the backup lights.
