Thought I'd throw this up on here too...
See what kinda reactions I get, I'm thinking about wrapping my lights this way (I know this is a 1 off 1 pc hood)

Will look better if it's the actual hood, but if you do try it you'll going to have to use a vinyl thick enough so light won't go through...

But the car looks mean...

Edit: with a quick glance to it, it looked like a charger to me lol

I've got sheets and sheets of thick black vinyl, I made a rendering of my car with the lights the way I want them but I can't upload right now for some reason, I'll try again later

That wasn't hating, that was a long running inside joke on how the eyelids make the car look like it has a unibrow. I can completely respect an M62 swap in an E36.

That however, looks even worse IMO than just a regular unibrow.

They should be left only in Texas?

EDIT:

And for the record, that "helrot red repeat earlier" [sic] was built by a member here, not found as a pic on the internet by some guy in Texas who buys what he can't build. (Dinan).

ReEDIT: Or would you rather I not bring this up again?

(Neither Dinan, nor 1:1 size ratio of intake).

I don't think you have any right to bash Frank's sedan, considering he is as innovative as anybody on here. How many people have put an M54 into an E36 in their backyard?

What exactly have you done on your E36?

Thanks for not being mad at me for getting a rack Joe, I don't want you to think i was copying you , red sedan, rack, drop lol your car looks great and mine won't look half as good next to your car

Thank you to my bimmerfestbros for sticking up for me when I'm not around, its funny I was the only personal in that first thread that for the last 2-3 pages tried to get everybody to stop bashing you but you want to say my car gets blown out of the water by an alpina b8 wannabe?

M62 has been done im not hating but don't tell me my car is boring after you look at my Sig.

Juts bought some Plati-Dip and plan on doing the rear diffuser thing tomorrow. It was a little scraped up and this should make it all good again

Excess to be used on window trim.

Lemme know how the plastidip works on the window trim. I've used it once before, and learned the virtues of applying thin layers.

Will do. Probably won't get around to it until thursday, but I'll post some pics of both parts I paint.

This is a completely new product to me so we shall see.

Are you talking about the window trim around the rear vents? The ones that chip and begin to rust? Thats a great idea, ill try that if the vinyl wrap I bought for that dont work right.

I would agree but on the part we're talking about, no. Something so thing and curved woudln't be worth the time to vinyl.

Unless you're doing a big surface

A friend of mine, (the same one that got me looking into E36's now), Plasti-Diped the wheels on his first E36 not too long before he sold it. It turned out really good, and ever since then, I've been trying to think up an excuse to get my hands on a can of it.
