It looks like its pouting.

You don't actually drive it at that height do you? What does it look like at ride height?

This is my ride height. Not too far off from aired out. I usually only raise it for my driveway and speedbumps.

Cool, its definitely a clean car. I like the ride height, I seriously don't know how you guys drive slammed cars though. I used to have LTW splitters and slightly lower springs, and I had, heh, to the top of the N on a Natty can (oh college), of ground clearance and I ended up tearing them off after a few months and they rubbed on anything.

Not like uninstalling them, like ripping them off at speed.

Speaking of which I think I'm going to order set #2 before bimmerfest...

Yeah, me too. I want splitters to even out the M bumper. I hate how the bumper sits higher than the skirt.

Thanks bud. If the roads get crazy I also air up. I hate scraping and like to baby my car. I just love rolling low.

I think everyone should go to air. Perfect suspension IMO.

Does air affect the handling in any way?

Depends on the setup. Right now I have a 4v setup meaning the front struts share air pressure. On corners the air pushes to the other side a little bit giving a slight "boat" feel on harder corners. I have a few more valves to make it an 8v setup meaning each corner gets its own air supply, meaning much more fun in the corners. Right now its low and slow and rides unbelievable smooth though until the rears go in.

Got some new vaders, 7/10 for $380. Also, new shift knob and glovebox trim.

Trying to find a non-M insert for a ZHP knob, does it exist?

and a little whoring

Bah, your ZHP knob is way too nice.

I don't understand how I've worn mine out so much over 30k, it won't even respond to leatherique, it's just got this sort of gray worn down area to the right of the pattern where my hand has been on it most. Replacing it for the same thing seems silly and the lighted ones are too expensive and I hate any knob that isn't leather and OEM-ish.... so I guess I'll just keep my old one...

Can I change the insert on the knob? I'm not a fan of the tacky ///M on a non-M car..
