my rims are replicas of 07 m3 rims...not sure of the style # though.

The tint was on the car when I got it, it is dark but not illegal dark... the Aristo my wife has is black and you cant see thru it form the out side inside no problem but I think it's a tad to much. The tint on the bimmer is just right I'll post a pic in good light to show of darkness.
It's not as black as the pic look but it is dark.

I did wanted to go black rims but the other half just wouldn't accept the fact I like black rims

While I'm at it here is my last E36 318is same colour too and the LCD touch screen I moulded into the dash, had small PC in the boot.
And a pic of the wifes Lexus/Toyota Aristo and the BLACK tint.

I just bought a 94 325i sedan and i was wondering what kind of mods and kits i should get, its completely stocked. i will put some pics up after i get it cleaned.

i need to put some work into it, like rust spots and the interior is weather damaged. i also messed the front up when i went though a snow bank, lost both fog light and cracked the under bumper. so if you guys can suggest and mods and things that would be great

Depends on what it already has, and personal taste.

I can tell you what me and I think a lot of other people start off with. Clear corners and sidemarkers, then clear tails. Then update the wheels if you dont like what it has.

As far as body mods kits go, I wouldnt add anything unless its M3 parts (bumber, rear).

As far as performance go, http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=205147 . All mine has is intake and Im happy with it. Probably wont do anything else performance wise, except some nice tired when I have enough money to buy new wheels. I dont think anything else is worth the money considering the power gain, misewell buy an M3.

Edit: Oh yeah, how can I forget Angel Eyes.

Angel Eyes can be white, blue, green, seen a car with red ones somewhere. Doesnt matter. They're halo-shaped lights. http://www.umnitza.com/index.php?cPath=450_26_89

Mein Auto: Dakar Yellow E36 M3
Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum so here's an abbreviated post from the one I submitted on the intro page. Hopefully someone can help me with my 2 questions.
Cheers,

Bob.

Hi all,

I'm buying this M3 from my mate who has babied it over the last few years. Prior to doing the deal, all the cars that I have looked at were daily drivers that really had a poor care factor attached. They looked as though they were driven through car washes with nylon brushes etc. Others had dodgy service history or none at all or travelled far too many miles for my liking. I'm organising a PPI on Monday morning so hopefully everything can be wrapped up on Thursday meaning she'll join us for Easter. Mine apparently is very well optioned in having the following fitted -

BMW 6 stacker in the boot.
Electric Sunroof.
High Rise centre console.
Rear retractable blind.
Wide Pack 8.5" Rear Wheels
Factory Cruise Control
Factory Front and Rear Mats.
Alarm and Electronic Immobiliser.

In addition to the above list, the current owner fitted the clear lens kit but has included the original ambers in with the sale. Are there any other options that were available on these cars when new? I know the alarm is aftermarket but it's a must now days anyway.

Anyway, I hope to contribute where I can and hope I don't ask to many dumb questions.
2 to start with and I want HONEST answers. Is the Dakar yellow popular 15 years on or is it a bit of an orphan. I was told that when new it wasn't that popular hence a bit rarer than some of the other colours. Has it's popularity increased over time?
And lastly, as touched on earlier, what other FACTORY option was offered with this car?
Cheers,

Bob.

PS: Here's a few pics........
