The M3 in the US had amber rear lights as well, just like all other E36s. Ken has clear blinkers on his rear tails as well, but they're the "crystal" style. Ken, if you're looking to get clear tails like mine which replicate the Euro tails, I've been very happy with mine - Haven't had a single issue in the 1.5 years since installing them. They're Eagle Eye brand which I bought from DDM, and when I compared them to my OEM tails, they easily seemed to be just as high of quality. They're also ridiculously cheap right now:

Yeah I have those same ones and I haven't had any issues.
I saw someone with all red tails which i actually liked a lot more than I thought I would've, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to make them yourself, and red turn signals and reverse lights might make passing inspection more of a pain than it already is.
