so are you just a maaco style shop? i can see some pretty pronounced dents in the car, that's the only thing stopping me from getting a macco respray, i need some body work before i can paint mine again.

Yeah I'm at maaco we do body work too the customer declined all the dents getting fixed and so we painted it that's only a single stage paint i sprayed my car there to but i did body work first

It's a shame that they didn't pull off the trim. You get a much nicer finish that way. They didn't pull off the trim on my project E36 and it's starting to chip away right where the tape was. Not to mention it's probably quicker and easier than taping off...

^This. It's about 100 times faster to simply remove the trim than it is to tape over it, and it produces better results. Taillights should've been pulled, too, which takes all of five minutes. I guess ultimately it comes down to what the customer pays for.

That was the least of their problems lol and i took mine off alot of dirt lays in there easy to take off too wish it was my car I'd do it right and def keep it factory color or atleast do the jambs too
