Insurance came to look at it, my mom has to call back, but of course when she did they didnt pick up the phone, and theyre most likely closed for the weekend

My mom gave up on getting something from the school, they were sending her in circles.

Have her call the school board. They tend to propagate less BS than the schools themselves.

Actually, memory is coming back here. I'd call the business office and ask who they contract plowing out to. If its campus, then good luck getting anything.

Still really sucks Dino.

Come work on my car for cash while on break! lol

I wanna start it but i remembered that moisture in the oil can grenade my CCV and send raw oil into the cylinder (if the moisture freezes) soo yeah, im not adding fuel to something that may explode

HA! i wouldnt be surprised if they actually do the plowing but DPS blamed it on a company they dont use

dude...you have a heated garage, Id swap a motor in there if you wanted me to, Seriously lol

Hate to be a party pooper, but the school isn't obligated to do a single thing in this case. Schools (and businesses, etc.) are not responsible for fender benders which take place in their parking lots, and I don't recall having read that this damage was verified as being the result of the school's plowing trucks. It's pretty much all hearsay, and due to that, you're basically SOL. Fortunately, you shouldn't have to pay a deductible since it's comp (you weren't driving).

Really? They could at least have cameras. I mean I did pay like More than $60 for a sticker My mom never has anything less than full coverage so it was going to get fixed regardless, she was concerned that if she claimed a hit and run her rate will go up. But in 1st efforts to get something the school she said **** it. Im not sure if she has to pay one or not. Pretty sure she does.

Im dropping the car off on Monday, actually. Also Monday is when the ins will email her an appraisal. Then we'll see what the body shop says.

EDIT:

Yeah youre right. I JUST stumbled upon this

"Operation and parking of a motor vehicle on University property shall be solely at the driver's risk. The University is not responsible for any damage or loss to any vehicle."

Your insurance rates should not be affected in any way since you were not behind the wheel when the incident occurred.

Yea only ones yellow. I saw it on a e30 at a rally event in Santa Barbara and just really liked it! The fog lights are both yellow, idk i like it. Its different and thats me.. I did do away with the blue however that was temporary.
