started another thread with link to bmw usa's announcement of the e70.
looks awesome. good point about 4.8 price compared to 4.4 in view of std features. Was considering 4.4, may have to go for the 4.8, since my wife likes a little more oomph than the I6 seems capable of.

If there is any vehicle in the BMW line up that needs the Turbo 6 it's the X5. This badboy needs torque.

Don't get my wrong, i think it looks really nice -- but, just like the 6er looks like a Pontiac, I see the Tribecca in this too. Then again, i think the 2002tii and the 3200CS are things of beauty... so maybe I'm just prejudiced.

I agree w/adrian.

I am surprised at how good the new X5 looks, I really like it. The old one just didn't look right to me, and they already look dated which is not a good sign. I LOVE the front end, fantastic.

The new e70 looks way more expensive than the e53. I hope BMW has not let the price go too far from the previous model..
