16" Collapsible Orange Safety Cone

Found this while shopping at PepBoys last night. Thought it was kind of cool, so I picked up two.

It's a collapsible, 16" orange safety cone. Weighted (with sand) plastic base, nylon cone material with reflective stripes. Seems like a nice addition to the trunk kit, I think it is a bit more eye catching (due to mass) than the warning triangle.

Dimmensions (collapsed): 9 5/8" x 9 5/8" x 1 13/16"

PepBoys Part # V238

Distributed By Victor Products (victorautomotive.net)

Weight: 2.2lbs

$12.99 + Tax

I'm thinking about fastening some sort of blinking LED (such as those used for bicycling at night) to the top of it, so that I could activate the LED if I ever use the cone at night.

First pic is what some non-collapsible cones look like at the end of some of my auto-x runs.

Those would be nice to have at HC to save parking spots in the hotel lot.

Rob, gave me some short ones tonight just for that purpose. They were grinding up cones where he works to make other things.

Nice, but being the misanthrope that I am, I'd wrap it like a mummy in reflective tape
