Coolant Flush Questions

I wanted to change my coolant this weekend, and flush the system. This will be the first time I am doing this on my '99 328i, I have done this on a few other cars.

I was wondering if there were any tips/advice regarding this. Is there a drain plug for the block or only one on the radiator? I have heard BMW's are sensitive and finicky if not bled properly, I had this experience on my old Acura Legend, it would overheat if any amount of air was trapped in the system. So I know to be careful with this. I have BMW coolant and will be mixing it with 50% distilled water. Anything I missed? Thanks.
