Z4 M Coupe at NHIS

I found these pictures of a Sepang Bronze Z4 M Coupe at an NHIS track event. There are 10-15 pictures of it scattered around the photo album for the event. These are the first "real world" track pictures that I've seen of the Z4 M Coupe --

I'm thinking that looks a lot like David Haueter, aka Seneca. And the license plate is the same. Upcoming Roundel review, maybe?

Great pics! I'm wondering why the rust around the tail pipes already here: http://haueter.smugmug.com/gallery/1673951/1/82097107

Seems strange to me there would already be that much corrosion on the exhaust.

The welds are rusting. It polishes out. Will be powder coating them this winter.

Interesting...my car is on a train somewhere so I wonder if mine will do the same. I had my '99 E36 M3 for almost 7 years and the exhaust was rust free even here in rainy Vancouver. No worries though and thanks for the reply.

I think the NJ plates support your theory - that might well be a BMWNA car.

You were right - his article is in the latest Roundel! I guess they could have published it a couple of months ago but were waiting to gather the rest of the M Coupe articles. He did a good write-up by the way (except for the SMG comment).

Agreed. I wonder when Turner is going to offer a shock/spring combo for the car as he recommends in the article?

TMS do mostly H&R springs and Bilstein shocks and I am sure they'll have something ready by the time next track season rolls around. I'd be just as excited about a TC Kline setup with adjustable Koni shocks
