203 hp e34

I have boosted my E34 from 189 to 203 From just using oil addictives and other oil sources ROyal purple 10hp at least 2 high octane boosters 3 hp gain But my Mpg seems to be little and im thinking about getting a very high flow air filter

I was also thinking ethei get a high flow air filter or this intake has anybody tried it and is it California legal?

Hmm and i dont know if i should spend anymore money on my e34 i do have my 2006 civic coupe thinking about fixing that up with an aem intake, body kit si grill.

Have you done a dyno run or are you just guessing?

Dont mess with the intake. This isnt a cheap car. BMW put a lot of money into the factory air cleaner and you will not see gains with this aftermarket one.

Is anything aftermaket legal in California?

HMM i wonder about the stock intake is that could be why e34 is Kinda loud

I think the stock intake is actually rather quiet. You could disconect the hose from the air filter box to hear what it would sound like without the factory air box. Just dont drive around without putting at least a cone filter on the pipe.
