Le Mans Blue M3

Hey everyone, I picked up my M3 last weekend. It's Le Mans Blue, and has a sticker on the left front shock tower that says "BMW Individual".

I was wondering if there are any other M3's this colour in the US, or is mine the only one?

Thats a very special car you have there, not many people pay the extra $2k to get paint to sample colors like that. I highly doubt there is another one just like that, but there might be.

Its a damn nice color - but I'm aware of others.

These are the only other Lemans Blue M3 Coupe pics i have seen.There were some pics i also saw of a cab.These pics were posted on bimmerfest back in 2004.Nice color,enjoy.

there are in deed others, I have seen/know of at least two others.

still nice color, but there are more Individual cars out there than some people think.

It is a gorgeous colour! I love it. Every time I walk away from the car, I have to turn and look back at it!

I wonder how many 'Individual' cars there are out there?!

Le mans would be my fist color choice. Get it with that kiwi color leather. I saw one on madrussian.net.

Whether it is or not; LeMans is one of the best blues ever.

I saw a video on Edmunds.com about new 2006 M3, they said that LeMans Blue was reserved for competition package only, is that what you have?

You're confusing LeMans blue with Interlagos blue, the current blue on the M color palette. They're similar, but I think LeMans is a bit darker with more hints of purple to it.

LeMans was not an M3 color in the first place.
It was an exclusive M5 color at introduction.

To my eye, Interlagos Blue is darker with more hints of purple.

I think you meant to say "Interlagos Blue is a bit darker with more hints of purple to it.".

LeMans Blue has no noticeable purple to it to my eye - whereas Interlagos is REALLY purple.

Whatever, LeMans Blue is a very nice color and the M3 looks great.

I really liked Interlagos Blue when I saw it in the showroom but never could remember the "Interlagos" part of the name. I ended up just calling it "blurple" because of the purple hint I saw in the blue hue. More of a bling name though, don't think we'll ever see "blurple" on the list of standard colors.

Interlagos = F1 track in Brazil...host of the Brazilian GP.

You aren't blind. There isn't any purple in LeMans Blue. Good color - enjoy it.

N834ST, that is a smokin hot car you got there. I've only seen one other Individual M3 and it was Estroil Blue (I think) and in Cleveland.

Where are you in Detroit? Reason I ask is you don't see too many M cars around here. I've only seen 3 E46 M3s myself.

Hey mkIRM3Vert, yep, I'm in Dearborn. You're right, there aren't that many around. I've seen a few, but only know one person with one in Ann Arbor - Perry, and that was from track days when I used to run a Scooby WRX.
