Rally

I'm just wondering if there is going to be an official rally this time. The turnout was quite dissapointing...there were alot of people who left early because they didn't know that one was gonna happen. Weather it's official or not, i'll be there...and this time my car won't die on my

I am going to do everything that I can to make the rally happen in 2007!

Maybe Law Enforcement will work with us this time so we can have a civil gathering. We could also do some self-policing and call out the "pit racers" to make sure things don't get out of hand. I really missed the rally this year, but I understand your feelings about keeping your conscious clear.

You've got plenty of time to get one ordered just the way you like it and then you'll be all set. Of course, you don't have to have a BMW to attend -- my first year attending my car was still on order, so I just ogled all of the other cars and bought accessories to add to my car after it arrived.

Yeah, it'd be great if the rally could be "Official" again this year. But if not, undercover flyers need to be passed out for the "unofficial" rally (not endorsed by Bimmerfest of course)

i think the rally is one of the more exciting parts about bimmerfest. that and roundels all over the place

Well, there were flyers handed out but there were still so many people who didn't know it was going on, and they left way early because they thought it was all over. Those people make me laugh

I hope the rally is official, i have a burning desire to driver over 80mph thruogh the CA highways. the last time i came was the year the new 5 came out and my dad got one through profiles so the ride wasnt very fun cuz i was just 12 or 13 and i didnt get to drive.

Perhaps you could do TWO rallies in opposite directions. You could base rally direction on model designation per the registration info.


Seeing half of the other cars pass by would be sweet!

Naw, that was one stupid person. I would say that most people on here SHOULD have enough sence to be smart. What we should do is strap C4 to everyones car. If someone misbehaves....they're out of the rally

Anyways, i think to bring back the rally would be great, but we all know what can and might happen when u mix young'ens with fast cars and the want to show off.

JON,there is allway an an ASS that masses thing up for thoughs that what to cruise...there is a time and place for that kind of stuff and not in the streets...I am talking about the vid you posted here....BOOSTEDE21 you must of have been freaking out there....So JON hold a rally ok,they so fun to do we all know this too....

Understand that if Jon organizes a rally, Bimmerfest takes on some liability.

If someone else were to organize a rally, posting the info here (meeting time & place), as well as possibly passing out flyers at the event.... then Jon and Bimmerfest is safe.

that is trun there so he get the cop to help out and that will keep the ASSES out, when they se cops are helping out or that some set-up a RALLY but then it may get out of hand and fast too........or he can set it up as a cruise then??

dounts,burn outs and drifting is not cruising to me,that is show boating exc,but if someone was to hold cruise and same thing happen if can fall back to the FEST too,for who do crazy you give evryone a bad name here on the FEST,don't get me wroug I like to play too, but there is place for that stuff.....respect the law and you if play on street you will pay big time...that guy is so lucky nothing big happened.....

OK....I will ask the question and bump this back up. Any new info on a "official" post-fest Drive.?....Do we need to organize a "Casual Classic Cruise" for the older set??
