keyless

I'm trying to find out how to identify if I have keyless entry on my 1998 Z3.I've gone to the dealers and they cannot identify if it was. I've gone through this and other forums but most talk about programing the key or getting an aftermarket system. I've gone through the electrical diagrams looking to see where the remote frequency module would be locate find almost nothing on how the keyless is trigger .I know that I must be missing something so anybody that can tell how to find this it would be extremely helpful. Should add that I've never had keyless fob did not come with .but I have a lot of other equipment that already existed on this vehicle such as the pins already install for the hard top rear defogger plus in the trunk it indicates that it's prewire for a security feature. Ps I've read as many of Qsilver7 replies (which are Great)

Have you looked behind the glove box yet?

I looked behind my glove box, and saw lots of modules and wires. How would I tell if I had keyless entry?

Many thanks to postalz3. Was picture perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.Between the pictures and some of the other links I think I don't have one. Most obvious indication is lack of led light in dash to indicate arming. But will still check the glove box just to see. Also many thanks to Qsilver7 for all the other bits of info. May not contribute much to the forum my self but definitely appreciate the skills of some of the more expert members and for their time in answering

one question does any one have the BMW keyless and do you like it's operation
