Went to school there.

Lived in roach motels in the back bay, Allston, and Brighton.

Worked in a pawn shop on the Boston/Jamaica Plain border (Washington St. -- ORANGE LINE, BABY!)

What a wacky period of my life.

Used to attend art class at the MFA, then get blitzed at the pub across Huntington Ave. from it.

Grew up there, then went to school in RI and stayed after graduating. I plan to move back to Cambridge or Newton next year!

Not me, but I'll be there next weekend.

Yea I heard your sink is stuck on a boat to no where

Too much $$ on the line for it to go on to long. That's the good thing about still using horse and buggy

The last real strike went 100 days, not a good thing. All of our appliances etc are here or are being shipped by air, this state gets 90% of its goods by sea.

A question for all you Bostonians...
Whatever happened to the bakery chain called Baby Watson's (at least that is what I remember as the name) . They made those to-die-for brownies called Chocolate Orgasms .

You can always go to the Cheesecake Factory. It's actually a restaurant, but their specialty is their mind altering cheesecake. They have something like 50 different kinds. I've yet to finish a piece - the serving size is about 5 lbs worth of cake, a SLAB. Loaded with equal amounts of fresh heavy wipped cream. You know when something is so rich and loaded, you almost gag? Yeah, it's like that.

I do go to the Cheesecake Factory, but they are a national chain, which means they are the same no matter where you go. Baby Watson's was Boston (or perhaps New England) specific, and therefore somewhat unique.

Anyone remember the Deli King?
