Installed the Paddle Shifter Yesterday

Well I had the parts for a while and needed the Airbag (so I bought a newer X5)

The install instructions were straight forward. I provided a little feedback to Vincent for instructions tweaks.

Total Time: 3 hours
Hardest Part: Airbag removal. Getting to the springs that hold the airbag in is a bit hard.

Overall impression: Really nice feature. The thicker M steering wheel is great! I feel that I really need the tranny software to complete this. Quality of the kit is good. Packaging was excellent.

Value of this Mod: Value is subjective. If you have the airbag and get a good deal on the SMG wheel it is a worth while upgrade. If you need to get the whole thing (airbag, wheel, kit etc..) it is a bit steep for what it does.

Over all, I am glad I did it!
