2007 X5 Quote

I just got a quote on an almost fully loaded 2007 X5. It has the ZTP, ZSP, ZRC, ZPS, ZPP, ZCW packages, along with 217, 316, 322, 496, 610, and 653. I totaled 66,265 off of the wholesale invoice available through Bimmerfest, but he quoted me 70,035. What invoice is he going off of? This is my second BMW through this CA. Will the 2007 X5 be sold for under invoice or are they going to be like an "M", since they are so new? Thanks for any assistance.

I don't think they are going to be discounted substantially for a while.

That quote sounds way high to me. If they are trying to go way over MSRP, I think they are in the Sales Prevention Business.

I actually meant over wholesale invoice. My baddd.... It doesn't matter anyway now. I got impulsive and leased an '06.

They will be sold at MSRP or sometimes a frequent customer discount will be offered.We pre sold our first dozen cars to previous customers.I'm sure normal discounting will kick in,but probably not till January at the earliest and more likely by spring,it all depends how well sales are going and probably how the overall business is going for that particular dealership.Most dealers usually discount off of MSRP ,not XXXX over invoice,it sounds better,even the bottom line number comes out the same.Over invoiced is more commonly used with the Japanese cars....

Congratulations! Great time to get one. You're setting yourself up for the great lease deals they'll have on the new body style X5 in two to three years.
