pics after eibach pro-kit springs and new wheels

Bought my 528i 5-sp a month ago pretty much stock and I've since added P39s (with retrofitted factory HIDs), Dension Icelink, clear tails and side repeaters, 20% tint sides and rears, Hamann PG2 reps made by Moven in 19" staggered fitment (8.5" front and 9.5" rear), and lastly eibach pro-kit springs riding on stock shocks/struts.

Here's a couple before shots:

And here she is now:

If you look closely you may notice that the driver side rear is a little higher. I believe this is normal as the ride height evens out when sit in the car.

I haven't gotten pulled over yet for it - also it looks a bit darker in these pics than it does in person.

dang... every time I see a pic of your ride I want to get a set of Axis Pentas. I was really stuck between the Pentas and PG2s - and laziness eventually won out... I may go for the pentas though just because I really like the gunmetal wheel on silver car look - where do you think is the best place to buy them?

Offsets are 15mm front and 22mm rear (staggered setup). What problem are you having with fitment? I did have a problem trying to get the rim on the hub at first but realized it was because rust buildup on the hub was making the fit too tight - after some scraping they fit like a glove

Thanks!

getting my M front bumper next week. That along with an M5 rear trunk spoiler will go on in the next couple weeks. Still trying to decide if I want to get M5 mirrors - they look so good... and the tech geek in me loves the ability to fold the mirrors from the cabin...

Im contemplating doing the same. I bought my 5 with its foglamp mounts broken, so I gotta do something, I don't wanna be a wannabeM5.. Where are you buyin your bumper/spoiler from? Tech geek or not, nice to be able to fold them for tight parking spots/other car doors

I just got and installed M5 Style mirrors for $235 including shipping. Just a plug and play. it should cost you about another $100 to paint. if you want the auto flip you will need to buy the additional modual for about $125 to $150. I only manually flip mine. Can't beat the price. I know some people only want OEM but for the price I think its worth the M5 Style mirrors.

post the photos when you are done with the install.

i got my M-tech and trunk spoiler from Bekkers.

Yeah thankfully I am local to the guy who's running the group buy on the M5 mirrors over at BFC so I can get them for even cheap because I don't have to pay for shipping. Main thing is that I don't want to throw too much money into cosmetic mods... we'll see.

Waz up man, your car looks great. I am looking to get the eibach prokit also. Does the car feel stiffer or bouncey with lowered suspension. How do you like the ride of the new suspension???????

Thats where I got them My next installment is the Koni FSD with Eibach Sports spring from the GB on BF. Can't wait to have them install. May have to wait intil spring. Cash flow is tight after a kitchen Renovation.

Eibach springs are soft, softer than factory sport springs.

I want the Koni FSD and supposely they matched it with Eibach Sports springs. I like the slight drop look and still have the OEM ride that FSD provides. I don't want anything harsh.

The ride is slightly stiffer - but this is in part due to the fact that I'm running 19s as well. It does not feel "bouncey" at all. I love the way it rides. I had H&R Sports on my 330CI and they were a tad too stiff around town for my tastes (though this is partially due to the E46 having a stiffer chassis) and the eibachs are just about perfect for me - comfortable ride and feels sportier without feeling harsh. I'd recommend them. I prefer the look of the drop more than H&R Sports as well - a bit more aggressive.

you know I've heard that from others, but I don't think that's true as they certainly feel stiffer than factory sport springs to me - right in the middle between stock sports springs and H&R Sports.

Just found this short comparo of H&R vs Eibach springs - which is about what I experienced as well.

Too bad you're not closer, I'd be happy to help with the install - goes so much quicker once you've done it a few times.
