M6 vs S8?

Both are stunningly amazing cars with their own special points. Yes, I understand a S8 is equal more or less to a 760i, but the 760i is more a luxury cruiser than a sport sedan like the S8.

So, the question is, which would you rather have for an every day car that you can occasionally light up?

The '07 S8 looks amazing in all of its colors, but especially Daytona Gray, and is slightly more than the M6 when both are fully loaded, but ~$2k is pennies if you're spending that kind of money.



The '07 M6's have loads of colors that I absolutely love (like stratus gray and sepang bronze, and yes, black) and are extremely fast.

As much as I love the new M6, i think id take the S8...

I really dont have a direct reason. Idk I really like the Audi 8s

Me too, there's something about them, they just seem so fantastic. Can't quite put my finger on it but it all blends in so nicely, the styling, the performance, the handling, etc.

But, can't compare in total ride and package. M6 is for me but if I wanted a powerful 4-door sedan/cruiser I would look to try an S8 for 1 year (lease).

Can't say more than that...But that R8, hmmmm!

Audi's always look the same to me. How can one compare the sports sedan, to a full bred sports car? Have you considered the M5? No disrepsect or anything of the sort, I'm just wondering the reasoning.

M5 isn't in the same price range but it is in the same caliber, I suppose.

M6 is not a full bred sports car, a Porsche GT3 is. An M6 is a grand tourer.

I usually dont post here but I thought I would anyways. I like the look of the new s8's and would love to drive one but I would take an m5 over it anyday. I have heard from my friend who is a bmw tech that audi's are some of the hardest cars to work on and they have many electrical problems. Maybe the newer ones are better but thats all ive heard.

Does anyone have a videoclip of S8 vs.M5 or M6?

its hard to compare the two cars. one is a very fast sedan. one is a very fast coupe.

the m6 is a good bit faster than the s8, part because audi wont tune it to over 500 hp...which the quattro would love to have!

one could compare the m6 better to the R8, although, the cars are in a different catagory aswell.

the R8 is something to behold, then again so is the m6.....
