1979 320i parting out

I have a 79 320i I'm parting out. I did not want to but the wire harness was hacked up with aftermarket electronics. I have it all torn apart now and still have most of the parts. The body itself was in excellent condition. Interior had its good and bad and suspension/drive train all worked well. It has 16th miles 4 speed Trans, early m 10 motor and a 3.90 open diff. Feel free to contact me for questions.

I have the shifter boot w/trim, speedometer, seats, heater controls, glove box in OK condition, embrace with rubber boot. The interior was in poor condition elsewise. But if u need exterior or drivetrain/suspension part they are all in good condition.

Gotcha. I just picked up an e21 for my son last night so I'll be going through it today. One thing for sure...locks. It came without a key and the ignition tumbler is shot.

That would be great. That's the first thing I need to figure out in order to park her on the street while I collect parts. I called a locksmith today (two of them) and their quotes were ridiculous. Waaaay too high.

Well I know I have the ignition key and the ignition cylinder. I'm not sure about door locks yet I will have to go test it out tonight when I get home.

Is the heater valve in good shape? The one I have works except the end of the lever broke off where the cable goes through.

Thats just what i need, do they both work as they should, fully functional? And the plastic handle isn't about to crumble apart in your hand right?

Yes i do. I just added the money to my PayPal acc. But it says it'll take 3-5 days to process and actually be in my account. Do you want me to email you when the funds are transferred and everything is ready?
