Start with the connectors behind the instrument cluster and those at the DME.

You didn't happen to get that E21 from a guy in Crestview, did you? Is it this one?

No, I bought mine from a guy in Pensacola. I don't like red cars.

Thanks!

Good luck on the cluster repair!

You would hate my E30 then. Just repainted it from horribly faded and cracked Luxorbeige Metallic to Brilliant red.

I bought some wheels from the guy that has that E21 in Crestview. Back then (almost a year ago) he wanted $2000 for it. Now he's relisted it on CL for $2900. I wonder if he fixed the dead #3 cylinder? It was a dead miss while running, and had a 'hump" in the spin when cranking, like a valve was stuck open.

Well, the fact that it didn't have those wheels is why I never went and looked at it. So thanks.

It's a long story about me and red cars and involves traffic tickets, cars being hit in parking lots, and a kid walking into the side of one when I was driving by. So no more red cars for me.

Wait, what wheels didn't it have? I bought the 5.5"x13" Style 32s he had. Three of them. I just bought them to make a set of five, since I had two already. Looks like you got a set of 14" Style 32s on yours.

That's a nice looking E21 you've got! Are you a BMW CCA member?
