Should i sell my m3 or should i keep it and fix it up and mod it?

I just bought my m3, its a 97 coupe 5mt. My mom and dad are telling me to sell it, but im thinking of keeping it, fixing it up, modding it, and then keeping it for a while. Should i sell it and get another e36 in better condition, or should i keep it? The only reason i wouldnt keep it is to save money on fixing it up, im not trying to put too much money into the car. I would really like someones opinion, please reply! Thank you!

What's wrong with the one you've got?

Well, I just found out it has an accident on it, but it only got rear ended, and it has a lot of work to be done for me to like it the way I want it, so I was going to see if I could just get one in better condition in the color I want, and just start work on that one so I don't spend a lot of money on this one. I would prefer a nice 97-99 e36 m3 coupe black on black vader seats with around 80k miles 5MT in mint condition, that'd be great

I'm not really following you 100% but if you don't like the car, sell it and get one you like. Or what is exactly the answer you are looking?
