I have blue angel eyes, and they blink for 5 secs or so when I first start the car then they stop. But they work perfectly when I turn the park lights on.

Those 12w lights came in today. I have a good feeling bout them. Dont have a chance to freaking install them as the car is at the shop. But i feel like they are what i need. If i dont have yellow look after installing them im sticking with them. Plus seller is located in Hungary surprisingly shipping was very fast.

It's been asked if you can retrofit the LED module from the model year 2005+ handles. I don't have a photo of the 2002-2004 handles, but here is the back side of a 2005 with the LED module. It's held in place by two Torx screws and has two plastic light tubes which direct the light to the inside of the handle and downward towards the ground. There is a foam sealing ring for each light tube (red arrow). The last photo is the LED module with its black housing removed and powered by a 12VDC battery. IIRC there was only one LED, but it did have some type of metal heat sink.

63 31 6 937 229 LIGHT MODULE, LEFT
63 31 6 937 230 LIGHT MODULE, RIGHT

An incandescent bulb has a single filament which is fairly close to a single point of light. The reflector in the light module is designed to focus this light to a narrow beam at the start of the fiber optic cable. This is cannot be achieved with multiple LEDs, as there are multiple sources of light. I would experiment with a single chip LED BA9 bulb.

Ebay. Just look it up under blue tint or mirror blue tint. There are different other kinds of blue. So which ever is to your liking.
