2009 BMW X5 last 4 of the VIN L171445

Here is the short version. I had my AC blower motor replaced and now my vehicle has zero sound and I'm getting the SOS malfunction symbol. I took it to the dealer who proceeded to tell me its the amp, its unable to speak with the car on the fiber network. However after seeing on the forum that its probably the TCU, I went the cheaper route first. Well that didn't solve the issue, so I'm wondering if there is a way to bench test the amp or an inexpensive way to troubleshoot. I'm in dire need as we will be attending my fathers funeral on Saturday and its a 5 hour drive from Louisiana. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any thought with having the party that installed your AC blower motor look into fixing the problem they likely caused?

It is awful to think that we must note and record the condition of the car and agree between service and customer BEFORE signing the work authorization.

Well i bought the Carly for BMW and its showing a closed loop but the Phone Failure code came up, so I ordered a Most Jumper and I'll start trying to jump the modules one by one.

I actually purchased the vehicle for my ex to use because she has horrible credit and recently told me to pick it up because she didn't want to maintain the vehicle. So I paid to have as many items repaired as possible prior to me picking it up, so taking it back to the guy is out of the question.

Yep........it's the amp! Used the lollipop jumper and removed the amp from the circuit and everything's normal but no sound. I was able to use all functions minus the radio, even the SOS Malfunction is gone.
